M Kannan

Mr. Kannan is a successful strawberry farmer from Tamil Nadu. In his one-acre land, he is producing 13 tons of strawberries annually with 22,000 plants and earning more than three lakh rupees per month. Initially, Kannan bought seedlings for cultivation, but today he grows and sells plants. Besides exploring opportunities for value addition in strawberry farming, he has also completed exclusive training to improve his skills in strawberry cultivation. He has in-depth knowledge of soil management, planting techniques, irrigation, pest and disease control, pruning, fertilization, harvesting, post-harvest handling, record-keeping, online and offline marketing, sales and more.
