Mr. Manjunath, hailing from Hosur, Tamil Nadu is an expert in rose cultivation. He developed the “Arka rose” cultivation with the guidance of ICAR. Today, he is growing “Arka roses” in his 12 acres land and yielding 30 tonnes per acre annually. Manjunath has a complete understanding of how to choose the right plants, how to get high yield, soil preparation, water management, disease management, methods used for this cultivation, harvesting and post-harvesting methods, storage, marketing, online and offline sales and much more. Moreover, he has established his brand and transports flowers to cities like Chennai and Coimbatore, earning more than a lakh rupees every month.
