About Jr QA Engineer:
As a Jr QA Engineer, you make sure that there
is no gap between the quality of the release and the quality perceived by the
end user. You are expected to build and lead a lean and agile quality assurance
team that prides on shipping bug-free product suites in a time-sensitive
environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Build
and grow the QA team.
2. Own the
bug life-cycle and the QA testing processes.
3. Define
the quality standards, metrics, and reporting practices.
4. Build
the automation practice while focusing on and improving the manual testing
practice.
5.
Mentoring and coaching the QA team members.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Minimum
2+ years of experience in the testing
domain having grown as a test engineer.
2. Minimum
2
years of experience as an automation engineer.
3.
Extensive knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies having executed test
projects in an agile environment.
4.
Experience in leading QA teams in verification, validation, mobile app testing,
automated testing, reporting, web service testing, and service virtualization.
5.
Experienced in driving the different facets of test cycles including
functional, integration, regression, UAT, and sanity testing.
6.
Experience in documenting test cases, and acceptance criteria, and maintaining
test scripts as per the product requirements.
7. Your
profile will stand out if you have experience in implementing automation tools
like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, SOAP UI, REST with POSTMAN, Appium, any load
testing tool, etc.
8.
Proficient in SQL queries to perform database testing.
9. Good
team player with excellent communication, project management, and cross-team
collaboration skills in a time-sensitive environment.
10.
Exceptional attention to detail.
