Ms. Lima Das is the proud owner of “Granny’s Love” from Odisha. She has graduated in Textile Design from the prestigious "National Institute of Design", Ahmedabad. After graduation, she launched "Granny’s Love" with a mission to revive hand-knitted woolen garments and embroidery work. Her company produces a range of items for young children, including sweaters, scarves, finger puppets, bottle warmers, crib hangers and clips. Lima collaborates with a team of elderly women from across the country. Her work not only revives traditional crafts but also promotes women empowerment. For her continuous efforts, Lima has been recognized by Media Houses like the “BBC” and “The Better India”. She has in-depth knowledge of textile designing, knitting, embroidery techniques, colour coordination, pattern making, material selection, quality control, finishing techniques, product customization, trend analysis, training and hiring staff, online and offline marketing, sales and more.
