Meet Mr. Gopala Gowda, an expert farmer and senior sericulture practitioner from Chikkaballapur. With over three decades of experience in sericulture, he has made a prominent name for himself in this field. He is earning more than 15 lakh every year. Gopala Gowda started his journey using traditional farming methods. However, after a thorough research, he eventually shifted his focus to horticulture and then to sericulture. Gopala Gowda succeeded in sericulture farming and won many awards, including the state's best agricultural scholar award and the national-level agricultural achiever award. In addition to sericulture, he also practices holistic farming and operates dairy, sheep, and goat farming, along with growing millet, fruits, and vegetables.
