Ms. Praveena CP is a successful entrepreneur in the paper bag manufacturing business from Kerala. She is a civil engineering graduate and previously worked in a Co-operative Bank. But, during the time of COVID-19, she unfortunately lost her job. Starting a paper bag business stuck in her mind, during this time as a means of supporting income. Praveena decided to initiate a profitable home-based business with the support of a friend from a similar field and gained the necessary knowledge from her. With assistance from the “Kudumbashree” Unit, a paper bag manufacturing unit was established. Today, she earns a handsome income from her unit and has provided jobs to many people. Praveena has in-depth knowledge in designing, craftsmanship, raw material procurement, bag customization, customer service, cost management, packaging and shipping, time management, online and offline marketing, sales and more.
